Prayer / Kiyoshi Kitagawa Trio

昨年末、澤野工房から出た北川潔(b)さんのアルバム。
メンバーは、Kiyoshi Kitagawa (b)、Kenny Barron (p)、Brian Blade (ds)。

全員メチャウマ。特に Brian (ds) --- 超絶技巧かつセンス抜群、格好良い。北川(b)さん --- アルコもこれほど上手いとは驚き(^^;、音程、音色、雰囲気、すべてバッチリ。クラシックの先生について相当やりこんだのではないでしょうか。

それから (b)、(ds)のデュオで演奏している Oleo 、研究のため聞き込んだけど凄い。超一流どこの技には惚れ惚れしてしまいました。
